A ONE DAY OR TWO DAY COURSE.  The choice is yours.  This course can be taken as a non-yoga teacher or as a  2 day (10 HOUR )Yoga Alliance Continuing Education module for Yoga Teachers.

Should a course be cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns and restrictions trainees can either have a full refund or postpone to a course at a later date. We strongly recommend that clients who need to book accommodation and travel insure that they will be able to change or refund their travel arrangements should Covid 19 government policy recommend social distancing or ban gathering. Please note that Air BnB and most Hotel policies have this rule in place but it is better to confirm with the hosts and your booking agent.  

To protect our trainees we will not accept any trainee who has recently come from a high risk area nor a person in contact with someone from a high risk area without proof of a negative Covid19 result. Trainees must sign an affidavit confirming no high risk contact and commit to no high risk contact during the course. 

TEACHER

Monique Rodgers is an Integrative Movement and Mindfulness Teacher, as well as the founder of Golden Wild Movement. Monique offers Mindfulness and Movement tools and techniquest to educate and empower beings. Her aim is to show how yoga can be accessible for people who feel they can’t identify with the contemporary yoga image. 

Day 1: Practice
What we’ll work through:
–  Philosophy and physiology of mindfulness and meditation. 
– How to begin, integrate and maintain a practice.
–  An introduction into Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy & Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
– Breathwork
– Mindful Eating: why & how to practice it. 
– Creative mindfulness practices
Day 2: A deeper dive for teaching
What we’ll work through: 
– We’ll look at how to integrate mindful tools into your teaching – yoga classes, webinars, workshops & retreats. 
– How to teach mediation to your clients
– How to find your voice
